The Akwamu Traditional Council of the Asuogyaman Traditional Area of the Eastern Region has slated Boxing Day, 26th December 2022 as Royal hiking for life day .
Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III led an enthusiastic crowd on a hike through the Akwamu Conservation Forest Mountain on Saturday 12th November as part of his weekend of thanksgiving and in fulfilment of his stated mission to promote tourism in Akwamu,
Akwamu can has some of the most interesting, spectacular and safest tourism destinations in Ghana within a sector that is a major driver for economic growth in any community.
“Hike for life” Is on of the first of many such activities to encourage tourists to visit Akwamu.
