The minister and Member of Parliament made this pronouncement when she visited four churches in Kadewaso, namely the Assemblies of God Church, the Apostolic Church of Ghana, the Church of Pentecost, and the Methodist Church in the Atiwa East constituency of the Eastern region.
According to the MP, President Akufo-Addo’s administration would continue to put down measures and policies to ensure the economy is revived from the current global crisis. Government is working to address the these economic challenges in which we find ourselves and a number of policies and programs would be incorporated into the 2023 budget for implementation to improve the situation, according to the deputy Finance minister, Abena Osei Asare.
She also admonished the various congregants to do everything possible to guard the peace we currently enjoy in the country and that we cannot move forward without peace.
Hon. Osei Asare also donated bags of rice and oil to support the vulnerable members of the church and also thanked them for their intercession for the Constituency and Country.
