The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly has officially handed over a renovated Akwadum M/A KG No.2 Unit class room block at Akwadum which is estimated at Seventy thousand Ghana cedis (Gh¢70,000 ).
The MCE Hon. Comfort Asante, in her speech thanked the Member of Parliament for supporting the Assembly in renovation of this KG block which was in dilapidated state.
She therefore assured the community that the Islamic school would also be completed as promised to allow school children get good environment for studies.
Madam Mary Opoku, representing the New Juaben North Municipal Director for Education thanked the MCE and the Assembly for coming to assist them to achieve their aim and purpose of enhancing their education in the municipality.
Presents at the short ceremony were the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Ndinga Nborinyi, Municipal budget officer, Mr. Joseph Attah Baah, Municipal Engineer, Mr. Anim Botei, Municipal Planning officer, Florence Nartey, Hon. Abdul EL Seamed, Government Appointee, madam Mavis Mercy Donkor, the Headmistress of the school and others.
